Mark took over the Martial Arts program in 2018, building a stronger foundation for youth development, discipline, and earned confidence in Pittsburg.
2021 · THE CHEER PITT
The Galindo family purchased The Cheer Pitt in 2021, expanding Pittsburg Elite’s ability to serve local athletes through Competitive Cheer and Tumbling alongside Martial Arts.

When Mark took over the Martial Arts program in 2018, Pittsburg Elite didn’t grow because one person built it alone. The Galindo family built it together—through long days, difficult decisions, family sacrifices and the work that happens when no one else is watching. Every step forward required the family to believe in what Pittsburg Elite could become and support one another while building it.
When The Cheer Pitt became part of Pittsburg Elite in 2021, that responsibility grew. Martial Arts, Tumbling and Competitive Cheer became different parts of one shared mission. Each new program, season, class and event brought more work, but also more opportunities to give children a place where they could be challenged, supported and genuinely known.
Pittsburg Elite isn’t simply a business our family operates. It is part of our family’s life and something we have sacrificed for, believed in and built alongside the families we serve. We understand what it means for a parent to trust someone else with their child, which is why our standards are personal. We want every athlete to feel seen, every parent to feel informed and every family to know that their child’s development matters here.
